Jane Dennehy (PhD) is an expert in gender with special interest in competition in sport and workplace. She is currently working with What Could I Be? to develop career education materials for young people and parents to challenge gender stereotypes. She is also working to develop the 'Pop-Up' Think Tanks in the UK.
Caitlin Fisheris an expert in gender and sport and has an MSc in Gender and Development. She has been a professional footballer in Sweden and Brazil and is an experienced ethnographic researcher. She is currently working on a number of football in projects and exhibitions in Europe. Caitlin is also working to develop the 'Pop-Up Think Tanks' in Germany.
Joanne Burigois an expert in gender and advertising and has an MSc in Gender, Media and Culture. She has worked in advertising in the UK and Brazil and is an experienced course designer and trainer. She is currently in Brazil undertaking research in digital media platforms.
Marisa Schlenker, is currently pursuing her masters in political science, focusing on conflict management. Her most recent project centred on the 2015 World Cup Turf debate. She is a former professional football player who since retiring worked for Coaches Across Continents developing curriculum for athletes and coaches on financial literacy, health and wellness and rights and life skills. Marisa has also completed research projects with the Chilean Consulate of Chicago and Opportunity International, a micro-finance organization.
Julie Roche, is first and foremost a sports fan. Over the years her passion for sport has grown and developed to include research and teaching. Julie's main research areas focus on women in sport and specifically on leadership and executive roles. She is currently working on a football research project for "Kick it Out" looking at "fans responses to discrimination in online social media in football." Julie has a keen interest in fitness and has been a competitive bodybuilder.
